Free Preschool Ocean Cut and Paste Worksheets

This ocean cut and paste activity is a great way for young learners to strengthen fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

The free printable cut and paste worksheet is a great addition to ocean animal studies or other themed ocean activities. After you’ve tried the first page together, this fun activity can become independent work.

Help these adorable ocean animals get from one side of the maze to the other. Cut the squares of water and arrange them in the grid to help the sea creatures reach the other side. This is a great activity for spacial awareness and critical thinking as young children rotate the pieces to make the path work.

If you notice that your preschoolers are having trouble with the scissors and aren’t quite ready for this worksheet, that is ok! Give them the challenge of ripping paper to make their own ocean scene. Ripping paper is a fun way to strengthen wrist rotation, finger muscles, and the pincer grasp. They will have fun ripping the paper and layering it to make the ocean and including different plants and ocean animals too.
