Many younger children (and older kids too) are afraid of bees. That fear probably stems from not wanting to get stung. I have found that the more the children learn about bees, the less afraid they become and then they are more invested in protecting them. It is so important to talk about the importance of bees! Without them, we wouldn’t have anything.

Whether warmer weather is coming your way so bees will be around or you are celebrating World Bee Day, this cute little bee craft will be so much fun to add to your activity line up! This is a great way to strengthen fine motor skills as children cut out the facts and glue them to the bee.

The printable worksheet comes in color or black and white. It also comes with facts already filled in on the strips or blank strips to write down different facts. I also love giving the children the chance to tell facts that they learned and writing those on their strips. You need a few simple supplies, scissors and glue sticks. Challenge your students to cut out the strips and tape or glue them onto the bee.
